Wine Geese, a New Era Oak Casks Barrel Aged Imperial Stout with an alcohol content of 12%. NEOC casks are barrels that have been brought back to life after a careful and dedicated maturation process by the best cooperages in France. These were primarily Bordeaux casks that were refurbished, re-toasted, and returned to the racks with Irish whiskey. In other words, these staves have history in their fibers. Expect notes ranging from toasted oak, leather, light coffee, and toffee in this highly delicate product that has been matured slowly and with great care in our cellar in Sligo Town.
