Running Porter is a beer specially developed to pair with British regional cheeses. It is a porter with an alcohol content of 5.6%, brewed with a blend of Maris Otter, brown, black, chocolate, crystal, and flaked barley malts, and hopped with East Kent Goldings and Bramling Cross. The beer is inspired by the historical "running beers" of the 18th and 19th centuries, which were intended to be drunk fresh, as opposed to "keeping beers" that were aged.
