Koen started as a young quality control (QC) intern and then quietly worked his way through the laboratory, the warehouse, and distribution, until he became a full-fledged member of the brewing team.
Somewhere along the way, Koen, the ‘Anarchist Apprentice’, also earned his own ‘Foreign Legion’ beer.
His Quadrupel combines notes of dark caramel, maple syrup, roasted malt, and dried fruit with cinnamon and the warm spiciness of Belgian yeast. It doesn’t need bourbon or rum barrels to shine; this beer stands completely on its own.
The apprenticeship is over. The mustache is still being considered.
