Cantillon Iris 2019 | Lambic

The beer has been brewed since 1996 at the Cantillon Brewery in Anderlecht. On the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the Brussels Museum of Geuze in 1998, this completely new original beer of spontaneous fermentation was brewed. It is an amber-coloured pure malt beer with an alcohol percentage of 6%. After the brewing process, spontaneous fermentation follows. This is not a Geuze but a beer in which only pale ale type barley malt is used and only 50% aged hops and 50% young hops. This beer matures on average two years in wooden barrels. Two weeks before bottling, young (Saaz) hops are added again, this technique is called cold hopping
