Binge is a warming and powerful malt liquor. We have aged it for 36 months in Oloroso sherry casks to bring out the delicious flavors of the oak barrels: overripe fruit (pineapple and apricot), dried fruit (raisin and fig), and wood (umami, leather, and tobacco). As is typical for a malt liquor, the alcohol is clearly present.
Malt liquor is an American term for a type of beer with a high alcohol percentage (usually between 5% and 9%). It is brewed with barley malt, but cheaper ingredients like corn, rice, or extra sugar are added. As a result, it is often sweeter, more carbonated, and cheaper than traditional beer.
